Cannatà & Fernandes

Fátima Fernandes was born in Mogadouro, Portugal, in 1961. She graduated from Escola Superior de Belas Artes do Porto in 1986. Michele Cannatà was born in Polistena, Italy, in 1952. He graduated from the Instituto Universitario Statale di Architettura di Reggio Calábria in 1977. They have been working together since 1984, developing a professional practice in Portugal and Italy. They are the scientific coordinators of the architectural event Concreta - Exponor since 1999. They founded Cannatà & Fernandes arquitectos Lda in 2000. Their office works on the development of architecture projects, urban planning, design, graphic design and engineering services together with subcontracting directly related to the main activity of architecture. They also develop an important editorial activity through book editions and commissioning exhibitions and international seminars on architecture.
