Carlos & Rui Veloso, Arquitectos

Carlos and Rui Filipe C. Veloso were born in Guarda in 1970. They both graduated with degrees in architecture from the Faculty of Architecture at the University of Oporto. Carlos completed post graduate studies in Planning and Projects for the Urban Environment at University of Oporto in 1997, and was an assistant professor in the course of Arts, Communication and Design of the ESTG at the Viana do Castelo Polytechnic Institute.

Rui is a professor for the drawing course at the Architecture and Engineering Department of the Institute of Education and Development (INED) in Maia since 2004 and a professor for the Technological Civil Construction course at School Secondary of Gondomar in Porto since 2006. In 1999, Carlos founded his own architecture studio Carlos Veloso - Architect, Ltd. Rui has collaborated with Carlos professionally and as co-author since 2003.
