Cecilia
Puga
Cecilia Puga was born in Chile in 1961 and graduated
with a degree in architecture in 1990 from the Universidad
Católica de Chile. From 1987 to 1989 she studied history
and architectonic monument restoration at the Universitá della
Sapienza in Rome under a scholarship from the Italian Foreign
affairs Ministry. Between 1990 and 1993 she worked as an editor
of Revista CA, the official organ of the Association of Architects
of Chile, and was in charge of many of its issues. Currently
new projects are under construction for the Department of Architecture
of the Universidad Católica de Chile and various single
family homes, all of which are personal projects. Together
with seven renowned Chilean architects and various international
guests such as Toyo Ito and Rick Joy (www.ochoalcubo.cl) she
participated in the project “ochoalcubo” (eightcubed)
which is being constructed in Marbella, Chile.
