Mansilla + Tuñón Arquitectos

Luis Moreno Mansilla was born in Madrid, Spain in 1959. He graduated from Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura de Madrid (ETSAM) in 1982. He worked in the office of Rafael Moneo (1984–1992) and founded Mansilla + Tuñón Arquitectos with Emilio Tuñón in 1990. Emillio Tuñón was born in Madrid, Spain in 1958. He graduated from ETSAM in 1981, and worked in the office of Rafael Moneo (1982–1992). They are professors in the architectural design department of the Architecture School in Madrid, and also lectured in Frankfurt, Navarra, Barcelona and Puerto Rico. They founded the CIRCO co-operative think tank in 1993 and produce a monthly publication under the same name. Recently they completed the Barrie de la Maza Foundation Building in Vigo (2005) and won the competition for the Helga Alvear Foundation in Cáceres (2005).
