Will Bruder

Born in Wisconsin in 1946.
Graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in sculpture from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. In 1967–1968 he worked at the office of Paolo Soleri, and in 1969–1970 at the office of Gunnar Birkerts. Founded his own studio in 1974.
Received Chrysler Design Award, 2000 and National Design Award Finalist, Cooper-Hewitt Smithsonian Institution 2000.
His projects include Scottsdale Center for the Arts Atrium Remodel/ Arizona (2001), Riddell Residence/ Wyoming (2001), Portland Main Library/ Maine (2001–), Madison Center Library/ Wisconsin (2002–).
