DeBartolo Architects Jack DeBartolo Jr. was born in Ohio in 1938. Studied architecture at the University of Houston and at Columbia University in New York, receiving the William Kinne Travelling Fellowship for honors in 1963. He founded Anderson DeBartolo Pan, Inc. in Tucson, Arizona in 1972. As design leader, his works resulted in over $1 billion of built architectural projects throughout the US from 1972 to 1994. Jack DeBartolo 3 was born in Texas in 1969. Studied architecture at the University of Arizona, Harvard University and Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Received honors for his Masters thesis in 1994. In 1996, he joined his father, forming the studio of DeBartolo architects.
