Kas Oosterhuis
Born in 1951 in Amersfoort, the Netherlands. Studied architecture at Technical University of Delft 1970–1979, and received his master’s degree at AA School in London 1987–1989. From 1988 to 1989, worked at Studio Theo van Doesburg in paris. In 1994, established his own office in Rotterdam. From 2000, he has been teaching as a professor at Technical University Delft. His distinctive approach to architecture has been attracting international attention, and his realized works as the Garbage Transfer Station in Zenderen
(1995), Saltwaterpavilion (1997)(a+u 98:07) have received awards. His current works include TTMoument in Assen (2001), Headquarters true colours in Utrecht (2001); Sports Center in Ypenburg (2000/2001).
