Conradin Clavuot

Born in 1962 in Davos, Graubünden, Switzerland. Grew up in Chur and citizen of Zernez. He started architectural studies at ETH, Zurich in 1982 and graduated in 1987. In 1988, after finishing his thesis project with Prof. Fabio Reinhart, he established his own architectural office. His earlier projects cover various renovations in Canton Grisson. In 1991 he wrote and edited the book The Power Plants of Canton Grisson (Die Kraftwerkbauten im Kanton Graubünden), in collaboration with Jürg Ragetti. Received international award for “New Building in the Alps in 1998” and Swiss Award for Wood Architecture in 1999. In 2003, visiting professor in architectural design at ETH Zurich.
