Schuler Matthias Michael

Born in 1958 in Stuttgart, Germany. Studied Mechanical Engineering at University of Stuttgart, Masters degree in 1987. 1987–1992, scientific assistant at the Institute for Thermodynamics and Thermal Engineering at the University of Stuttgart, International R&D projects for low energy buildings, expert for dynamic building simulation (program TRNSYS ). TRANSSOLAR, Stuttgart was esablished in 1992. 1999–2000, Lecturer at the Architectural Faculty of the University of Stuttgart. Since 2000, Visiting Professor at Harvard, Graduate School of Design, Department of Architecture. In 2003, Transsolar offices in Munich and New York were opened.
