A 300 individual and multi-unit housing complex with recreational (e.g., pool and gym) and commercial facilities is being planned on a 23-hectare site in Tanggu, Tianjin, China. The design is being developed through the collaboration with Motomu Uno, Kojima Kazuhiro, Yoshiharu Tsukamoto, and Ryue Nishizawa.
Currently, the master plan is under discussion. This is a site plan from the middle of this process. Us five architects are considering layouts that gently influence the whole, while yet maintaining a sense of cohesion.
